Finally some nods added to my brain bucket 🔥
As someone who responds to Police calls everyday in Baltimore City and SWAT response, I am thoroughly pleased with this unit. A lot of people have been dissing digital night vision as of late, however, this unit is a game changer. This unit is even better than the NVG-30s that have been hailed to be the best digital night vision out there at the moment. These compare perfectly to Analog Gen 2 PVS-14s. These have no latency, a great refresh rate, and are crystal clear to look through. I’ve been using them on a nightly basis and they hold up very well.
For those who are looking for a reliable digital night vision unit, from what I have gathered, these are the best out there at the moment.
Finally pulled the trigger on buying these. I am not disappointed with them. Build quality is very nice, tho only complaint is dovetail doesn’t feel very strong. Very easy to use, battery pack seems to last the duration of time that is stated. I could definitely train and hike with these or what ever nvg things I need. As a beginner in to the nvg world, I am happy I bought these. Definitely gonna make my friends jealous.
For style and build I am 100% in love it, gives that realistic bino look and feel. It mounts like you would expect with no issue. Mine has a bit of play in the dove mount to the housing. Where I felt this was lacking is the low light conditions without using ir. I realize that these are not analog nor will they be, but I was hoping it would be a little bit better than what I experienced comparing to my pvs-14. If I am walking around town at night these are 100% viable, but when I got to the end of my block they started to struggle. For night walks and possibly hunting purposes these would be awesome but for ftx events and such I would not use these
